NY OHIO — The town held a public hearing on the Harvey Bridge project, examining a Bridge NY state-funded initiative expected to begin in 2028. C&S Engineers presented a 280-foot, two-lane bridge design with a $4.1 million initial grant, and Supervisor Dennis Bussey noted the town may need to float a bond to cover cost overruns related to rising materials. Public comments may be submitted until November 6.
Council Member Jim Nightingale questioned county responsibility for the bridge. The board also approved $27,500 in highway transfers, $11,500 in general fund transfers, and a $2,933 Master Handyman quote for pole barn power, and deferred fuel supplier decisions pending acceptance of a state OGS contract application.
